Ribbn is built around unique, one-of-a-kind items, but we also understand that some sellers occasionally need to manage products that come in multiple variants — such as different sizes, colors, or materials.
If you’ve sourced stock in multiple variations of the same product, Ribbn now supports that through Multi-Variant mode.
How to Enable Multi-Variant for a Product

Go to the Product you want to edit.

Select Stock Management.

Under Product Class, open the dropdown menu.

Unique: This is the classic Ribbn setup for one-of-a-kind items (no action needed if you want to keep it that way).

Multi Variant: Select this option to enable variant management for the product.

Adding Variant Options
Once you’ve switched to Multi Variant, a new section called Variants will appear.

Click + Add Option.

Enter a Variant Name — for example, Size, Color, or Material.

Under Values, add the different options for that variant (e.g.,
Green, Blue, RedorXS, S, M).

Click Edit to edit or remove variants.
Use the bin icon beside any value to remove Option Value it if needed. Click the Delete button to remove Option Name.

When finished, click Done to save and continue.
Setting Prices and Quantities
After clicking Done, you’ll be able to set:

Price for each variant (each variant can have its own price)

Quantity available for each variant
Location Settings
You can assign product locations by selecting Locations and setting where your stock is held for each variant.
Bulk Edits
Edit variants in bulk by marking the variants you want to edit, then click Bulk Edit button.
Notes for Shopify Users
If you’re using Shopify, Ribbn’s Multi-Variant setup maps directly to the Shopify variant structure, ensuring a seamless sync between both systems.
RFID and QR Code Compatibility
Please note that variants cannot be assigned RFID or QR codes individually.
RFID or QR codes can only be linked to the main (parent) product, not its variants.
